Surrounded by mountains, in Lienz you can enjoy the privilege of being able to get into the ski lift straight from town and going up to one of the two skiing regions. From the Hotel Holunderhof this even only takes about a minute. There are also numerous other ski regions to enjoy such as the Hochstein, Großglockner and Matrei and the Defereggen and Hochpuster valleys.

Everything you need for skiing – from a beginners course to professional equipment is available directly by the Hotel Holunderhof. With the great location by the valley station of the Zettersfeld lift, journey times could hardly be any shorter.

The childcare at the ski school enables all parents to leave their children in professional care while they can ski to their heart’s content on the pistes! Courses, for example on skiing techniques, are available for all age groups.

You can also use the skiing technique courses to help you prepare for our guest ski race which is held every Friday in which the hotels compete against each other. Ski with your hosts against other hotels – a cup is waiting to be won!
