Valley of Defereggen

With approx. 60 kilometres, the Defereggen valley (Defereggental) between East Tyrol and Lienz is the longest valley in the Alps and, at the same time, the least inhabited.

Hochpuster Valley

It is for good reason that the Hochpuster valley (Hochpustertal) is also known as the “Garden of the Dolomites” – lush meadows, blooming Alpine flowers and crystal clear mountain lakes unite to form a truly picturesque landscape.
